 Bayanalysis - New car sales in Spain witnessed a major collapse in January, with total sales reaching 41,966 units, down 51.5% year-on-year, according to the Spanish Association of Car and Truck Manufacturers.

New car sales in Spain grew in December 2020, and reached 105,841 units at the time, which is more than twice and half as much as last month's sales.

The global auto sector suffers from a sharp decline last year, affected by the repercussions of Corona "Covid 19", in which the total number of injuries has reached more than 103 million global injuries, and more than 2 million deaths.

The auto sector in Spain witnessed the biggest decline last April, as it recorded the minimum decline in sales, which reached 4,163 units, while the sector did not exceed over decades the limit of 177,375 units, as the maximum sales achieved throughout its history.
