The economic confidence index in Turkey rises to 97.8 points, at a rate of 5.6% per month
Bayanalysis - The economic confidence index in Turkey rose to 97.8 points in June, compared to 92.6 in the previous month, or 5.6% on a monthly basis. This is the strongest reading since February 2020 after the easing of the precautionary restrictions for Corona, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute.
Sentiment among Turkish consumers improved to 81.7 points in June compared to 77.3 points in May and among manufacturers in Turkey to 109.8 points compared to 107.1 points during the same comparison period, while sentiment improved among service providers in Turkey to 108.5 points compared to 102.2 points and among retailers to 105.7 points against 100.9 points and in the Turkish construction sector it increased by 82.4 points against 79.6 points.
Historically, the highest index of Turkish consumer confidence recorded 114 points in January 2011, while the lowest index was during April 2020 and reached 58.4 points.
